Albert created new and different verbal “handles” for his meditations over time. One of those was “Sacred Spaces.” The editors have combined and edited a dozen separate entries in the Wilson archive into the five categories we document below:
The first is a general introduction and musings about what Al Wilson meant by “sacred spaces”………….
The second is mysteriously titled TEMENOS which is a Greek word. Al often used exotic words and names from other languages and little known philosophies. This item explains the meaning of the term and its relevance to the topic of Sacred Spaces providing with both a history lesson and a new perspective.
The third relates the topic of Sacred Spaces to one of Al’s avocational interests, namely, Architecture since many such spaces are human constructed buildings or sites……..
The fourth relates Al’s interest in the natural sciences to Sacred Spaces and suggests you connect with other pages in his website and other stories……
The fifth is a seemingly random collection of notes Al produced at various times that address or expand upon some particular aspect of Sacred Spaces but which do not fit into the above four categories ……….
